Ingredients
Shortcrust pastry (homemade is better!) / 6 onions (preferably white) / 2 eggs / 20 g crème fraîche / Salt and pepper / Olive oil / 2 tablespoons Carrot Cake jam
Instructions
- Finely chop the onions and sauté in the oil and jam.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Whisk together the eggs and cream.
- Remove from the heat and stir together the egg/onion cream mixture.
- Roll out the shortcrust pastry in a tart tin and pour the mixture over it.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 30 to 40 minutes. Leave to cool and serve with a nice salad.
